This course looks at the inclusion agenda from the aspect of the teacher/LSA partnership. It identifies the roles of Teacher and LSA and discusses the best way of working together.

Examples of best practice will be examined to see how each element of the partnership can get the best from each other. The day will look at roles and responsibilities - and offer case studies to examine how the working relationship can best support both individual staff and pupils.

The aims of the course are to:
• define inclusion and integration
• introduce planned partnership teaching and how to ensure best practice becomes embedded
• consider factors which facilitate learning
• explore some important Change Management techniques
