This course will focus on making topics presented in the A-Level Biology course curriculum relevant to students through: effective practical sessions in the classroom; introducing current and popular science to ensure principles are continually made relevant; sparking scientific discussion and debate in the classroom; organising extra-curricular science activities.
Teachers will be inspired by four simple ideas designed to transform their lesson plans from routine lessons to innovative and memorable experiences. The day will focus on supplementing the curriculum with activities that bring alive perenially difficult biological concepts. Teachers will translate subject matters in activities that challenge - and ultimately improve - performance in the A level Biology exam.
