This course will equip delegates with practical strategies to help pupils assessed as dyslexic to effectively learn a new language and enjoy their work. The tutor will describe the range of difficulties dyslexic pupils face, and explore ways of identifying and successfully overcoming potential problems in advance.
The course will include advice on choosing a language and course materials - as well as outlining the principles of presenting a new language clearly. The training will also demonstrate the effective use of supportive technology, including Language Master and Clicker 5 (Cricsoft), as presented at BETT and Education World 2008.
