Supporting Gifted & Talented Pupils in a KS3 Mathematics Classroom
Course code:

Adults and children alike know the feeling of being ‘stuck’ in a maths lesson. In common with all pupils, able mathematicians require support from LSAs. In a top set there is still a wide ability range and pupils although able, can struggle; their confidence may be fragile. Often, able mathematicians find it particularly difficult to ask for help. LSAs need confidence and sensitivity to intervene appropriately to offer their support.
