When it comes to the most competitive higher education courses, traditionally, attention has been focused on Oxbridge, Medicine, Veterinary Science and Law. In recent years a range of other courses have emerged as being highly competitive in terms of application ratios: English Literature, History, Psychology, Sport, Nursing and Teaching.

Delegates will receive practical guidance to help them effectively support applicants for the above courses and help them to maximise their chances of success. Advice will be given on choosing courses, what selectors are looking for, things students can do to strengthen their application, writing an effective personal statement and tackling the interview.

Delegates will receive copies of six Powerpoint presentations which they will be able to use with their students covering application support material for each of the six subjects.
