Lighthouse Professional Development conferences offer students a rich, memorable, learning experience.

This event has been designed to add the finishing touches on two years of preparation to develop students' linguistic competence in the 4 skills. There will be two Powerpoint presentations on aspects of French culture designed to help students improve both reading and listening comprehension and will, we believe, be found informative and engaging.

Listening is often one of the aspects of the examination which students find to be the most challenging. We will provide some practical advice to encourage them to become more autonomous, in order to improve comprehension. A range of strategies to help prepare for the oral test and expand on their range of vocabulary and expressions will be offered.

Students will be given the opportunity to participate actively during the conference. Songs and quizzes will be used to keep the attendees both informed and entertained. This conference is for students of all abilities.
