The course will focus on topics which appear on S1 across the specifications for Edexcel, AQA, OCR and MEI. It will give practical advice on how to teach topics and provide both paper-based and electronic resources to support your teaching as well as demonstrate the relevance of statistical techniques to real world situations.

It will identify key concepts that students need to know and how you can help them develop a sound understanding of those concepts, with an emphasis on raising performance in examinations. Reference will be made to how examinations in statistics at this level are marked, what is looked for by examiners and common mistakes made by candidates.
