Technology can have a major impact on the achievements of learners and most secondary schools say that they have a learning platform. Delegates on this course will be able to clarify exactly what a learning platform is and should do and evaluate their current provision using a framework originally developed by BECTA.

There will be activities to consider how a learning platform could be used to support better parental engagement as well as the leadership and management of the school. Delegates will produce an action plan to help them make a start on increasing the impact of the platform they already have, as well as deciding what else they may need.
