They will learn the real differences between academic writing and other forms, as well as how to hit the academic register consistently. Specifically, delegates will have the opportunity to take away activities relating to EFFECTIVE ESSAY WRITING, EFFECTIVE FEEDBACK STRATEGIES, SELF-ASSESSMENT AND SELF-MONITORING RUBRICS. After attending this course, tutors will have a clearer vision of how to guide their students towards raising their standards in and meeting the demands of, academic writing.
