The step up to headship can be a challenging one. This one-day induction course, with follow-up coaching and support, will help ensure that the transition is effective and the challenge proves successful, rewarding and professionally developmental.

Based on his own recent experiences, Andy Yarrow, now in his second headship, will guide delegates through the most important aspects of school leadership, demonstrating how to lead with impact whilst avoiding the problems and pitfalls commonly encountered. This course will allow delegates to share openly about the challenges they face, away from their local context, and with email, telephone or face-to-face coaching available after the course as and when required.
