This practical course will give you the fundamental skills needed to engage boys in dance. During the day delegates will explore how Contact Contemporary Theatre can be used to effectively challenge perceptions and build sustainable male dance in your school environment.

The course will look at male friendly schemes of work, choreography and give you all the tips and inside knowledge discovered by Zoie over the last 12 years of intensively work with young males in dance. Understand how dance can be linked directly to attitude, attainment and behavioural outcomes that benefit the individual and whole school environmenty. If you already have a group of boys you are working with and would like to develop their skills further, then this is the course for you!
