The course aims to provide opportunities for nonspecialist Geography teachers to develop their understanding and practice of teaching geography at Key Stage 3. The day will give the delegates confidence and skills to provide motivating and exciting lessons in Key Stage 3 Geography.

The course will explore exciting teaching and learning strategies to maximise the enjoyment of your students. Key curriculum topics and popular lesson activities for teaching these will be discussed and particular attention will be paid to assessment issues. This course is specifically aimed at experienced teachers who are non specialists but will also be useful to LSAs who would like to enhance their subject knowledge.
