This training day will give an overview of the three existing specifications. We will introduce teaching through Cross Media Topics and integrate new technologies into this delivery. We will also look at how to introduce each board's particular topic area with ideas for course planning. Delegates will have a clear idea of how to introduce and deliver the key concepts for GCSE Media Studies through engaging and interactive activities with particular attention to New Technologies. Those who are new to GCSE Media will leave with materials and resources for immediate classroom delivery - and more experienced teachers can use the materials to refresh and consolidate their own teaching. Delegates will have the opportunity to discuss their particular specifications and the planning of their courses.
