Increasingly mathematics is being taught by people who have not specialised in the subject and this course is designed to provide such teachers with an abundance of resources and ideas that will be of immediate use in the classroom.

This course will focus on tried and tested classroom approaches that cater for the wide variety of learning styles adopted by 21st century students. Techniques that leave no hiding place for the reluctant learner and yet also inspire the enthusiastic student to investigate beyond the constraints of the curriculum will be demonstrated and discussed.
