With the advent of a new GCSE in September 2010, teachers of English in secondary schools will be looking to consolidate their current practices and to build upon these in line with the new specifications. With continued pressure to improve English GCSE results, the onus is upon English departments to develop further successful strategies to raise achievement and maximise potential at GCSE.

This one day conference brings together professionals and practitioners from the world of English teaching who will offer guidance and practical strategies to improve results in GCSE English.
