What makes a good citizen in theis new digital landscape? In and out of school learners are increasingly making use of technology to manage and enhance their lives. Young people are 'digital natives' - technology is part of their lives and their skills may often exceed their parents and teachers. Using personal technology, web based communications and social networking is second nature but do they have the awareness they need to protect themselves and behave responsibly online? Do teachers have the skills to protect their own digital identity?
The aim is to teach everyone to recognise their online responsibilities so they can establish the digital values that will protect them, their identity and their peers, now and in their future.
